After a two-year gap, the French Open, once again, be added to the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour online.

The last time the tour was in France in 2006. EFA had a stop in Deauville, scheduled for 2007, but canceled the tournament series a few weeks before the event will take place.

“The European Poker Tour (EPT) regrets to announce that the tournament poker 2007 French Open to be held in the Casino Barrière de Deauville from 20 to Feb. 24, 2007, has been canceled. This is a direct result of last-minute intervention by the French authorities, making it impossible for the Lucien Barrière group to run a poker tournament at their premises in Deauville. “

The French Open will be held from 20 to Jan 24 2009, the Casino de Deauville Barrera. PokerStars is already planning to send some of their best players for the event.
